1 Tbs. Coconut Oil
Pinch of Ceylon Cinnamon
Handful of chopped Flat Leaf Parsley

These are all natural pet treats. We use organic ingredients whenever possible.
BENEFITS
SWEET POTATOES: Great for digestive health, high in dietary fiber (can help with loose stools), low in fat and contain vitamin B6, vitamin C, manganese, copper and iron.
BROWN RICE FLOUR: Wheat Free.
BLACKSTRAP MOLASSES: One of the many benefits is helping dogs with arthritis and joint related problems.
OAT FLOUR: Wheat free. This grain is tolerated by the largest number of dogs. Oats have anti-inflammatory and skin-soothing properties. They also have a common effect on the nervous system so are a good addition to the diet of anxious dogs.
COCONUT OIL: Healthy skin and coat. Prevents and treats yeast and fungal infections. Minimizes doggy odor.
CEYLON CINNAMON: Helps regulate blood sugar. It has anti inflammatory properties and is helpful for allergies.
FLAT LEAF PARSLEY: Freshens the breath and soothes the stomach. Boosts the immune system.
Wash and bake sweet potatoes @375degrees for approx. 40 minutes or until soft to the touch.
Remove skin and scoop out baked sweet potato into bowl. You can use an electric mixer, stand up mixer or mash the potatoes by hand. I hand smash the sweet potatoes.
In mixing bowl, begin to add your dry ingredients. Begin with 1/4 cup brown rice flour. incorporate it into the sweet potatoes. Add 1/4 cup of oat flour. Continue adding your flours. Soon you will feel like it is ready to roll out. Add all of your other ingredients as-well and mix in. Depending on weather and altitude, you may need more or less flour. Reserve a little extra for dusting when rolling out.
You are ready to roll out. Dust your surface with brown rice flour and choose your favorite cookie cutter. Roll out to about 1/4 inch thick.
This is a soft treat. These are baked low and slow. The sweet potatoes have a lot of moisture and I don’t want to overload with flour so the baking process is about removing the moisture with low, dry heat, for a very natural, wholesome doggie/human treat. Bake at 275degress for 1 hour.
Gino and Angel are always my little helpers. Woo Hoo! Out of the oven. We all enjoyed a snack.
